Stag & Stay -FAQ

Is the property private ? Yes, all Stag & Stay accommodations are entire private homes -you wont be sharing with any other guests.

How do we check in ? We offer secure check-in with private entry, making arrivals easy at any time.

What is the minimal stay? Our standard minimum stay is 2 nights. Discounts may be available for weekly or longer bookings.

Are the properties family-friendly?  Yes. Our properties are spacious and suitable for families, professionals and long stays. Children must be supervised at all times.

Is smoking allowed inside the property? No. All Stag & Stay properties are strictly non-smoking. This includes cigarettes, vapes and e-cigarettes. Smoking indoors is a serious fire risk and may result in additional charges.

Do the properties have cooking facilities? Yes. All Stag & Stay properties include fully equipped kitchens with an oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, kettle toaster, cookware, and basic utensils. This allows guests to prepare their own meals during their stay.

Are you suitable for contractors and work stays? Absolutely. We regularly host contractors and professionals looking for reliable, comfortable accommodation.

Is Wi-Fi included?  Yes, Wi-Fi is included as standard in all properties.

Is Parking available? Parking varies by property. Details will be confirmed when you enquire or book. On street parking is free of charge.

Are the properties fire safe? Yes. All Stag & Stay properties meet current fire safety requirements and are regularly checked to ensure guest safety.

Are smoke alarms installed? Yes. Smoke alarms are installed in appropriate locations throughout the property and are tested regularly.

Is there a fire blanket? Yes. A fire blanket is provided in the kitchen for emergency use.

Are fire extinguishers provided? Portable fire extinguishers are provided where required. Guests are not expected to fight fires - your safety comes first.  

Is there a carbon monoxide (CO) alarm? Yes. Carbon monoxide alarms are installed where required and maintained in line with safety regulations.

Where are your properties located? Our accommodation is based across Greenock and Port Glasgow looking to expand to Glasgow and the west areas.

Disclaimer - Guests are to be respectful and are expected to clean kitchen items after use. Excessive cleaning may incur an additional charge.
